Endela Supplies RAM 1500 4X4 Pickups, Dodge Durango AWD Vehicles into Ghana

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Alexandria, VA, May 1, 2016

Endela Logistics continues to make deliveries of RAM 1500 Crew Cab 4X4 trucks and All Wheel Drive (AWD) Dodge Durango SUV’s for delivery into Africa. These vehicles will be used throughout Ghana for executive transportation and as functional work vehicles. The 3.6 Liter V6 petrol engines and 8 speed transmission supply better performance than current fleet vehicles. The EMEA spec RAM 1500’s will also increase the fuel efficiency and range of the customer’s present fleet. Given the same engine is utilized on multiple vehicle platforms, the maintenance of the fleet will become more standardized. These vehicles will be warranted by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and maintained by the FCA General Distributor (GD) in Accra off the Tema Motorway, Tanink Ghana Limited.

Endela Logistics continues to advise this customer to utilize FCA vehicles. “In our testing, the RAM 4X4 platform has proved to have a superior suspension” Says Anvil Rock CEO Paul Flaherty. “The roads in Ghana are not forgiving, and we have tried and tested several makes and models to select these trucks based on general toughness, but also the comfort of the passengers”.

“Endela intends to supply more quality US manufactured vehicle options for the West African continent”

Endela is planning to move forward with a fleet distribution agreement for FCA vehicles, “I really believe in what FCA is doing in terms of the balance between functionality and performance. I think the Jeep product is amazing, we have put these vehicles through a lot on our other projects and they keep giving the performance we want. The RAM, Dodge and Fiat product lines show significant promise in achieving our cargo and passenger transportation goals in West Africa. Endela is willing to invest in a facility to train the local workforce in FCA product lines and to build specialty vehicles on these platforms. These include not only vehicles modified for commercial fleet uses, but for humanitarian missions and the safe transportation of personnel to job sites in austere environments”.

Endela hopes to provide the same excellent pricing and performance to other fleet and government customers throughout West Africa through their 5-acre distribution and vehicle modification facility in Elmina, located in the Komenda/Edina/Eguafo/Abirem District of Ghana.
