Biography: Kweku has worked in the finance industry over 10 years and has participated in deals as underwriter and account manager (GE Capital), broker (Marsh and McLennan), investment banker (Merrill Lynch), and borrower (Groupe Nduom). Nduom has also served as the finance manager for Coconut Grove Hotels, based in Accra, Ghana, and is Director of Business Development for Groupe Nduom. He is the founder of International Business Solutions, LLC (IBS) located in Washington DC. IBS is the US arm of Groupe Nduom based in Ghana, a family owned finance, hospitality, media, mining and industrial conglomerate of 26 companies with over 3,000 employees in Africa, Europe, and North America. IBS is the sole provider of US made vehicles, heavy equipment, and other items for all GN Ghana company requirements. IBS has developed specification, procured, and exported over 150 vehicles to support those operations to date. In his role at Groupe Nduom (GN), Mr. Nduom has had the opportunity to review and approve loans and investments totaling in excess of $100 Million via Ghana Growth Fund Company and GN Bank. He has also led or co-led fund raising efforts resulting in the successful acquisition of over $50 Million in debt and equity financing from organizations such as the Overseas Private Investment Company (OPIC) and the Soros Economic Development Fund (SEDF).

Mr. Nduom is pursuing his PhD at the George Washington University’s School of Business. He earned his BA from Princeton University (’00) and his MBA from the Wharton School of Business (’06). He serves on the board of several firms in Ghana, is an active supporter of Ghanaian boxing, and has volunteered his time to organizations such as the Nduom Foundation and Junior Achievement.
